From the Chirinos district of San Ignacio, Peru, Eli Espinoza's farm in Las Pirias is known for its dedication to quality. This Gesha lot is grown at high altitudes, benefiting from the region’s ideal coffee-growing conditions, including its microclimate and rich soil. Eli employs a unique natural processing method that begins with washing and floating the cherries, followed by skin drying under shade for 24 hours and then 45 days of controlled drying in a solar tent. This careful process ensures a distinctive cup profile. Chirinos is a renowned coffee-producing area, known for its excellent connectivity and vibrant coffee trade, which supports farmers like Eli in achieving and maintaining high standards. Eli's previous success with a record-breaking Caturra and Bourbon lot in Peru’s Cup of Excellence highlights his ongoing commitment to excellence, now reflected in this exceptional Gesha.
